The Fred Perry Project

'Since it was adopted by the Mods in the 1960s, the Fred Perry polo shirt has become an iconic fashion item, popular with generation after generation of youth subcultures; rudies, skinheads, punks, Northern Soul, casuals, acid house, Brit pop etc etc On a recent clear out I discovered I had more than ten of these polo shirts. It inspired me to embark on a portrait project.
